What makes Jacob "The World’s Cleanest Protein Bar”?
What makes Jacob "The World’s Cleanest Protein Bar”?
Two things:
- What we put in. Grass-fed protein. Organic honey and dates. Grass-fed beef tallow. Real cocoa, real vanilla, real berry powders. Every ingredient has a purpose.
- What we leave out. No seed oils. No artificial or non-nutritive sweeteners. No "natural" flavors. No gums. No emulsifiers. No preservatives.
What kind of protein do you use?
What kind of protein do you use?
- A grass-fed, animal-based blend: whey protein isolate, milk protein isolate, and collagen.
- Animal proteins absorb more efficiently than plant proteins.
- Clean, highly absorbable fuel to support your muscle growth and function, alongside collagen to promote skin, hair, and joint health.
Why do you use beef tallow?
Why do you use beef tallow?
- Nutrient-dense fats keep you satiated and energized.
- Beef tallow is packed with important fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with choline and CLA to support brain function, anti-inflammation, and overall energy.
Why is there sugar in your bar?
Why is there sugar in your bar?
- Organic honey and dates are the only sugars in our bar. There are ZERO artificial, refined, or processed sugars.
- Although it is a healthier, more natural option, honey is still considered an "added sugar" to the FDA.
- Most protein bars hit a low sugar number by using sucralose, stevia, monk fruit, or sugar alcohols.
- We use organic honey and dates. Your body knows what to do with these. It does not know what to do with artificial sweeteners.
What are "natural" flavors and why do you avoid them?
What are "natural" flavors and why do you avoid them?
- We don’t use “natural” flavors, which in our opinion, is anything but natural. While food manufacturers must list all of the ingredients on a food label, "natural” flavor manufacturers do not have to disclose their ingredients.
- They can add synthetic solvents, preservatives, and other additives to create flavor compounds that trick your brain and taste buds into craving a flavor more than it should.
- We opt for transparent flavoring, using pure extracts and powders from whole food ingredients.
